The Hipster Hunt
HELLOOOO WORLD! It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. So here’s something interesting I came across today:
A very interesting video about the cultural phenomenon of “the hipster”
To be honest, like just about most people in the video, I have a very VERY vague idea of what the “culturally modern hipster” is. But basically my definition of the hipster of our day is: “cultural elitist with a lot of money.” Or with little money, but will spend like no tomorrow to make sure they’re on top with what’s “in”
Personally, because of that I consider it an insult to be called a “hipster.” Granted, I’m a graphic designer, I own a Mac, and I probably look like one to a certain extent…seriously, I could care less about having the latest thing around.
But it is interesting to read about LOLL

Love the hilarious subliminal messaging in slinky commercial #3 that tells you that “YOU WANT TO GET A SLINKY” (YES YES YOU DO! hurrhurrhurr)
I too, still build some of my LEGO like they do (i.e. pixelated-looking people and animals)
Sometimes I wonder why we stopped doing musical commercials.
